The viral video showed a woman from Mumbai holding a suckermouth catfish, also known as the rare devil fish, in her hands.

Locals gathered at the scene to have a look at the rare devil fish. There were some who suspected that suckermouth catfish may have rained down during the downpour.

The variety attacks and eats other varieties of fish and is especially disliked by commercial fishermen because it causes losses.

We have come across weird sea creatures when they get washed on the shore.

Netizens were baffled when a fisherman from Russia posted a picture of a fish which he calls the “Frankenstein’s fish”.

According to a foreign news agency, Roman Fedortsov was working on a trawler in the port city of Murmansk when he spotted the eerie creature which was translucent in colour and had a jagged tail, a scary eye and weird fins.

It looked like it was sewn together because of the unique markings on its whole body.
