The Kerala Police arrested three men and a woman from Rajasthan on Friday for alleged gangrape a 19-year-old model on a moving car the previous night.
According to the details provided by the complainant, who is from Kasaragod, on Thursday night she went to a bar near Cochin Shipyard for a DJ party in Kochi with the Rajasthani woman Dimple Lamba, aka Dolly.
Drink spiked by the accused
The victim claims that she suspected that her beer was spiked at the bar. After she became intoxicated, the woman made her get into the vehicle of the three accused, identified as Nithin, Sudeep and Vivek.
She said the car drove across the city for nearly 45 minutes while the three males took turns and raped her. The accused returned to the bar to pick up Lamba after the sexual assault, she added.
The accused fled the scene after dropping the woman at her lodging in Kakkanad.
In a local hospital, the girl was admitted by her roommate, who informed the police about the incident. After the woman’s complaint, the four accused were taken into custody on Friday.
